I had a meeting with Food Vendors in Public Primary Schools on Lagos Island Local Government area ahead of the commencement of the PTO School Feeding Programme for Pupils. It is the first of its kind in the Premier local government.
The Social Welfare Initiative is in line with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
It is basically designed to provide balanced diet meals for pupils, boost learning ability, increase school enrolment and retention, and lessen financial burden on parents and guardians.
